The Benefits Of Hands-On Learning For Children
Hands-on learning is a process of learning by actually doing and experiencing something, rather than just being told about it. Some children learn best by looking at visuals, some kids learn best by listening to the parent or teacher speak and some children learn best from reading and writing. These are called visual, auditory, and reading and writing learning styles respectively. But, there is a fourth learning style which is called Kinaesthetic learning which is another name for saying “learning by doing”. “Learning by doing is” is a common theme of the Montessori Method of teaching.
